COUNSEL OF KPD CONSULTING BECAME A PRIVATE BAILIFF

KPD Consulting Law Firm is pleased to inform that the Counsel Mr. Andrii Ivanov successfully passed qualification examination of a private bailiff.

It is expected that from the beginning of 2018 the private bailiff Andrii Ivanov will execute enforcement procedures in Kyiv, as well as ensure execution of enforcement documents throughout the territory of Ukraine.

The main purpose of a private bailiff’s activity is lawful, prompt and effective enforcement of court decisions. Within the bailiff’s competence there are the active search of assets, monetary funds and other property of a debtor, their immediate seizure and recovery on debt repayment.

The private bailiff is empowered by the state to execute court decisions and binding decisions of other bodies:

- executive letters and orders on the basis of court decisions, arbitral awards, international commercial arbitration awards, decisions of foreign courts;

- judgments, resolutions, courts in civil, economic cases, criminal proceedings in cases stipulated by the law;

- notary writs, etc.

Andrii Ivanov has been practicing in Ukraine over 15 years. His professional experience includes service at prosecutor’s office, in particular, supervision over the State Bailiff Department.

Mr. Ivanov graduated from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy of Kharkiv (Law Degree, 2002), as well as defended a thesis on tax evasion and tax payments (2015). He is a candidate of legal sciences (PhD) (2016).
